Kura Notes writes the note and gives you a copy button, so you paste it into whatever system you use. There is no direct integration.
On the device you wrote it on — and only that device. There is no cloud, so a note written on your phone won't appear on your desktop; use Back up / Restore or Export to move it. Everything is encrypted, and each staff member unlocks it with their own PIN. Notes are written on the phone itself — nothing about the people you support is sent to us or to anyone else.
Kura Notes records individuals by label rather than name, which reduces risk considerably. That is not the same as a HIPAA certification, and if you are a covered entity or business associate you should review it against your own obligations before using it for billable documentation.
So that on day 6 nothing interrupts you. The people who lose the most to documentation are the ones who let a system lapse and go back to typing at 11 PM. Nothing is charged before day 6, cancelling takes one tap in your own account, and if the card disappears the trial just ends.
Every note is editable before you sign it, and the house style adapts to what you actually record. If it still doesn't fit after five days, cancel — that's what the trial is for.
A reviewer takes the days you billed and asks for the note on each one. The note has to show the person was there, what care was provided, when, and who provided it. A day with no note, or a note too thin to show the service, is an unsupported claim — it can be recouped, and a pattern of them is how a provider ends up on a corrective action plan. Kura Notes's job is that every one of your days has a note that answers those questions before anyone asks.
Your notes are on your phone, not ours. Export the Excel record and an encrypted backup any time, before or after you cancel. Nothing is held hostage.
